Lsst year I let all of you know I was on a mission to raise
$10,000.00 for the ILEETA Scholarship Fund (now the Fellowship
Fund). I had a few strategies most of which centred around book
sales.
Many of you supported that goal by purchasing books through
Warrior Spirit Books, purchasing books at courses, conferences and
presentations and through donations at the ILEETA
Conference.
I fell short of the $10,000.00 goal, but with your support still
managed to raise $5100.00.
I would like to thank you for your support.
I strongly believe that every trainer we are able to bring to the
ILEETA conference has the potential to save at least one law
enforcement professionals' life through what they learn. Therefore, I will
remain committed to this great cause.
I am taking a different approach to this cause for 2011. I have
committed to donate $10,000.00 to the Fellowship Fund in 2011.
Why do I tell you this? Accountability. By making this commitment
publicly I know I will be held accountable to follow through.
I will continue to donate proceeds from books sales along with
donating a portion of my speaking fees to raise the funds.
I would encourage you to find your Fellowship Fund or cause for 2011.
Take care.
