"Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best."
Henry van Dyke
You don't have to be the best; you just have to do your best.
Trying to be 'the best' means you are constantly comparing yourself to others. Being the
best is always subjective. There is very rarely agreement on the best movie, the best speaker, the best actor, the best team, the best athlete, the best …. well you get the point.
During my Pursuit of Personal Excellence I always talk about the fact that excellence is a moving target. It is about making a commitment to always be better tomorrow than you are today. And, it is about being the best that you can be, not about being as good as or better than someone
else.
What's Important Now? - Embrace excellence by striving to always be and do your best.
